Welcome Friend:

The All One Heart organization is growing every day by leaps and bounds.  We continue to find new and better ways to encourage people to get out there and make a personal difference.

Everyone knows the John Lennon song containing the lyrics, ``Imagine all the people living life in peace. You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope some day you'll join us, and the world will live as one."  At the time many thought this was the ramblings of leftover 60's, hippie propaganda. Some even thought it was a slight against religion. When in fact these simple beautiful words still hold true as the basis of harmony. All of us humans, whether we're living under the same roof or talking about someone on the news who we do not know, need to work at treating each other with automatic respect and love. We need to stop our judgments that have been on automatic pilot for so long and ask ourselves some questions: 1) What evidence do I have to pass such negative judgment? 2) Have I asked myself enough questions before making this judgment? 3) Can I and have I, asked the individual that is the target of my judgment, enough questions?

Does this all really matter? Yes! Think about the ``Golden Rule." How many times in your life have you or a family member been frustrated and hurt because you were judged prematurely? Ask them.

To paraphrase one of my favorite people (author, poet laureate), Maya Angelou said, ``Don't let people get away with this in your presence. Don't let it slip by. People who say negative and hurtful things about you, and to you, are trying to kill a piece of your soul." We all know what that feels like. We know it's true. We know we shouldn't do it to others.

Reality: Not everyone is going to get along with everyone all of the time! Not everyone shares the same views, likes the same things, has the same morals, beliefs and values. That's part of the beauty of being human and an individual.

What the friends of All One Heart want to do is stop separating ourselves in ignorant and hurtful ways, before we've had a chance to really know one another. Let it begin with me and you.  Please Join Us.
