THE ALL ONE HEART LIFESTYLE PLEDGE
I pledge:
- To live my life by the belief that we all share one spiritual heart. That what I say and do to others will come back to me. I will never intentionally hurt, falsely
accuse, stand in uninformed judgement of, or not help when I can, another individual.
- I will not walk away from something that has been said or done that I know to be wrong and against this pledge and my beliefs, without passively making an attempt to
change/correct the situation.
- I will not give up or turn my back on someone who is trying to learn to embrace this philosophy, because I too am learning to be more tolerant each day.
- I will take every opportunity that presents itself to educate the ignorant in a passive/non-violent manner. I will not accept stereo typing, prejudice or hate in any
form. I will make known my disgust of hate-based ``jokes," while not losing my sense of true humor.
- I will open my heart at every opportunity to expand my love and friendship to those I may not have noticed or who I looked down upon or with pity, before.
- I will accept every one as my equal, to be worthy of love, even when they are very ``different" from me.
- I will live by the belief that I do make a difference by what I say and do and by what I do NOT say and do.
- I will not ally myself with anyone who will purposefully not hold themselves to these standards.
- I will teach my children this pledge and help them to learn and embrace the deeper meaning.
